A Personal Care Home provides housing, food service, and one or more personal services for two or more adults who are not related to the owner or administrator by blood or marriage. “Personal Services” includes individual assistance with or supervision of self-administered medication, assistance with ambulation and transfer, and assistance with essential activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
At a Senior Solutions Licensed Personal Care Home, seniors can live out their lives in the home-like setting they have grown to love. By allowing larger communities to provide more extensive services that residents often need as they grow older, our Personal Care Homes can focus on offering residents home comforts and socialization activities, rather than medical attention or intensive care.
Although Personal Care Homes typically offer fewer services than an Assisted Living community, there are a variety of reasons a senior would prefer to live in a Personal Care Home. At Senior Solutions, our Personal Care Homes offer the luxury of a private room, companionship with other residents, and access to activities and outings, all in a less restrictive and home-like setting.
